Michi Kono

Michi Kono is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Garner Health, Kono previously held significant roles at Stripe as Head of Engineering for Identity and Radar ML, and at Meta as Head of Engineering for both Payment Processing and the Wearables Developer Platform. Kono also contributed to Capital One as Senior Director of Software Engineering, overseeing the Enterprise ML Feature Platform and CapitalOne.com. Before Capital One, Kono was Chief Technology Officer at Monsoon Company, which was later acquired by Capital One. Kono earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Sciences with a specialization in Computing from UCLA.
