Carrie Smith, PHR has a career in Human Resources spanning over 20 years. Carrie began their career in 1999 as a Recruiter with AccuStaff. In 2008, they took on the role of HR Assistant with Mohawk Fine Papers. In 2009, they became a Staffing Scheduler at The Avenue Nursing Home, where they were responsible for creating schedules for CNA's, LPN's and RN's and reviewing payroll punches. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Garnet River as a Senior Recruiter, specializing in the recruitment of IT Professionals such as Java Developers, Active Directory/Azure Developers, QA Analysts and Testers, Business Analysts, Cyber Security Analysts, Network Security Architects, Senior Systems Administrators and more.

Carrie Smith, PHR obtained their Bachelor of Business in Human Resources Management/Business from SUNY Empire State College between 2010 and 2015. Carrie also obtained an Associates Degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from SUNY Schenectady County Community College between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they hold a PHR certification.
