Alina Matei

Alina Matei is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Director at Garrett - Advancing Motion since September 2023. Previously, Alina held the position of Group SAP Development and Project Manager at Julius Meinl Austria GmbH from November 2016 to August 2023, where responsibilities included managing the system transformation to SAP S/4 HANA Cloud and analyzing system configurations. Alina's earlier roles featured serving as SAP Technical Leader at GE, overseeing all technical developments, and as a Senior ABAP Consultant at Metrosystems GmbH, leading the SAP Helpdesk team. Alina began a career in SAP as an ABAP Programmer at Crystal System, focusing on data transfer and report creation across various SAP modules. Alina earned a degree in Cybernetics and Informatics from Academia de Studii Economice din București between 1998 and 2003.
