Martin Murray

Martin Murray is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the electric propulsion and fuel cell industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Fuel Cell Engineering and Torrance Site Leader at Garrett - Advancing Motion, Murray leads a global team to develop advanced fuel cell turbo compressor systems. As President of Murray EV Consultants, Murray provides expert consultations on electric propulsion technologies and industry trends. Previous roles include Vice President of Systems Engineering at Ballard Power Systems, Chief Technology Officer at Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited, and various leadership positions at General Motors, where contributions spanned electrification program management and engineering for innovative battery and powertrain solutions. Murray holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA in International Business & Economics from Middle Tennessee State University.
