Martin Špunar

Martin Špunar is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in program and project management within the automotive and electrical engineering sectors. Currently serving as Lead Program Manager at Garrett - Advancing Motion since May 2021, Martin has contributed to advancements in turbo technology solutions. Prior roles include Project Manager at JULI Motorenwerk, focusing on synchronous and asynchronous motors, and Mechanical Engineer/Project Leader at Kollmorgen, where responsibilities included leading R&D projects on synchronous motors. Martin began a career at Siemens as a Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in synchronous generators. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering, both from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology.
