Onur Oruc

Onur Oruc, PhD, is a Powertrain System Simulation Engineer at Garrett - Advancing Motion, specializing in heat transfer modeling for turbochargers and hybrid vehicle modeling. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior 1D/3D CFD Thermal Management and Cooling Engineer at BMC POWER, where Onur focused on thermal and fluid flow analysis of cooling systems. As a Research and Development Engineer at Mir Arge, Onur conducted CFD analyses for various national and international projects. Earlier experience at BSH Home Appliances Group involved feasibility studies and system development for heat pump systems utilizing renewable energy. Onur holds a PhD in Heat and Processing and has both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi and Karadeniz Technical University, respectively.
