Vivegananth Muthupalaniappan

Vivegananth Muthupalaniappan is an experienced engineer specializing in electric boosting powertrains and model-based calibration. Since January 2022, Vivegananth has served as an Electric Boosting Powertrain Engineer at Garrett - Advancing Motion. Prior to this role, Vivegananth worked as a Model Based Calibration Engineer at FEV Europe GmbH from June 2019 to February 2021, focusing on air path, EGR, and turbocharger calibration for various vehicle categories. Between July 2015 and May 2019, Vivegananth was involved in diesel engine calibration at Mahindra Rise, where responsibilities included developing models for turbochargers and conducting regression analysis. Earlier experience includes engineering roles at Turbo Energy Limited, where work involved thermodynamic matching and validation of turbocharger applications. Vivegananth holds a Master of Science degree in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, obtained in July 2015.
