Alan Thompson

Alan Thompson is a dynamic Information Technology executive with extensive experience in global enterprise IT services, including networking, telecommunications, and data centers. They have held leadership roles in both public and private sectors, most notably as Chief Information Officer for the U.S. House of Representatives, where they oversaw IT and Cyber Security teams. Alan's background includes managing high-performing teams and executing complex infrastructure projects across various companies, such as The Washington Post and The Carlyle Group. They earned a B.S. in Information Systems Management and Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and also studied Journalism at the University of California, San Francisco. Currently, Alan serves as an Executive Partner at Gartner.
