Amit Patane

Amit Patane possesses extensive experience in software engineering, with a career spanning over 17 years. Amit served as Vice President of Software Engineering at Gartner from September 2019 to May 2024, holding previous positions as Sr. Director and Director of Software Engineering. Prior experience includes roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions from January 2007 to June 2013, where Amit functioned as a Systems Analyst and Programmer Analyst, contributing to the development of Axis Webservices and in-house frameworks, as well as application development using various technologies. Amit holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, completed in May 2024, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunications from Shivaji University, obtained in December 2006.
