Craig Lawson

Craig Lawson is a Research VP for Cloud Security and Security Operations at Gartner, with over 25 years of experience in Information Technology. They began their career as a Developer and System Administrator in a banking environment, contributing to significant technical innovations and migrations. Craig has spent the last two decades focused on IT security, holding various roles in engineering, solution architecture, and pre-sales across multiple sectors including health, government, and telecommunications. They have worked with notable organizations such as ComTech, Dimension Data, and IBM Internet Security Systems, and have been recognized as an expert in the security landscape. Craig holds a Bachelor's in Computing from QUT and an Associate Diploma in Business Computing from the University of New England.
