Dan Winterbottom

Dan Winterbottom has over 15 years of experience in event management and content development within the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of EMEA Events at Gartner since September 2010, Dan Winterbottom previously held the position of Senior Director in the same department. Prior to Gartner, Dan Winterbottom worked at the GSM Association as a Content Manager for Mobile World Congress from May 2008 to September 2010 and at Informa Telecoms and Media as a Principal Analyst focusing on Mobile Content and Apps from May 2006 to May 2008. Earlier roles at Informa from 1999 to 2006 included serving as a Senior Analyst. Dan Winterbottom holds a BSc in Environmental Chemistry and an MSc in Instrumentation and Analytical Science, Chemistry from The University of Manchester, completed between 1995 and 1999.
