Daniel van Burk

Daniel van Burk serves as the MVP and EMEA Practice Lead for Applications, Infrastructure & Security Modernization at Gartner, a position held since June 2010. With a background in consulting focused on Security & Risk Management, Infrastructure & Operations, and IT Sourcing within the financial services sector, Daniel has extensive experience supporting organizations in the Benelux region. Prior to Gartner, Daniel worked at Atos Consulting from April 2004 to May 2010, where roles included Associate Director and Principal Consultant, concentrating on IT Sourcing and compliance for major Dutch financial institutions such as ABN AMRO and ING Group. Daniel began his career at BT Syntegra, serving as a Service Management Consultant from March 1998 to March 2004. Daniel holds an Executive Master in IT Auditing from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an MSc in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
