Darin Stewart is a Research Vice President in Gartner's Software Engineering and Applications practice, where they advise digital business leaders and technical professionals on knowledge resource management. Their research areas include knowledge management, search technologies, and disinformation detection. Previously, Darin served as the Director of Research and Collaboration Systems at Oregon Health & Science University and has been a member of the Applied Information Management faculty at the University of Oregon since 2004. They hold a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and have authored numerous publications, including the book "Building Enterprise Taxonomies."
