Deepika Venkat

Deepika Venkat is a technology executive with over 15 years of experience in product management and software engineering. Deepika is currently the Managing VP of Product Management at Gartner, a leading research and advisory company.

Deepika has a proven track record in developing and executing product strategy, as well as delivering complex software engineering projects. Deepika started their career as a software engineer at Oracle, where they worked on the design and development of billing and revenue management solutions. After four years at Oracle, they joined Microsoft as a product manager for Microsoft Consulting Services. In this role, they developed a strategic framework to measure the business value of investing in Microsoft solutions for large enterprise customers. This work enabled the business to double its market share.

Deepika has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Pune and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

Deepika Venkat has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Management from Yale School of Management.

They are on a team with Robin Kranich - EVP & Chief Human Resources Officer, Scott Hensel - EVP, Global Services & Delivery, and Joe Beck - EVP, Global Technology Sales. Deepika Venkat reports to Eugene A. Hall, CEO.
