Emily Johnston is a seasoned compensation and HR professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as Managing Vice President of Compensation at Gartner since April 2017. In this role, Emily leads the non-sales compensation partner team, focusing on fair and equitable pay practices, annual compensation planning, and technology management to support various business units. Prior to this position, Emily held multiple roles at Gartner and its predecessor company, CEB, where responsibilities included compensation planning, HR business partnering, and developing localized HR practices in the Asia-Pacific region. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and has demonstrated expertise in compensation strategy, analytics, and the implementation of technology solutions throughout the career.
