Emily Strother

Emily Strother is a seasoned professional in the HR research domain, currently serving as a Director and Team Manager at Gartner since July 2016. In this role, Emily oversees a team focused on research areas such as HR technology, talent analytics, organizational design and change management, and CHRO effectiveness. Emily’s previous roles at Gartner include Senior Principal and Principal Research positions, where extensive research was conducted on employee experience, the employment value proposition, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior to Gartner, Emily was involved in residence life and housing at Wake Forest University, where responsibilities included program planning and community counseling. Emily also gained research experience through internships at Edge Research and Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Enterprise Management from Wake Forest University School of Business.
