Emily Tan

Emily Tan is the Director of CIO Research at Gartner, where they co-lead a team focused on enhancing the clarity and actionability of research outputs for clients. Previously, Emily has held various roles at Gartner, including Senior Principal and Principal in the CIO Peer & Practitioner Research areas. They also have experience in journalism, having served as Deputy Editor at Campaign Asia-Pacific and a journalist at Sun Media Corporation. Emily holds multiple degrees, including an Erasmus Mundus Master's in Journalism from various institutions in Europe and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from University Tunku Abdul Rahman.
