Freud Carvalho

Freud Carvalho serves as the Vice President of Executive Services at Gartner, where they have led efforts in Brazil’s North and Central regions for the past seven years, focusing on public sector CIOs and executive leaders. Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Freud has held leadership roles in the telecom, insurance, and consumer goods industries, emphasizing CIO disciplines such as strategy, governance, and IT financial management. With 12 years at Gartner, Freud has successfully advised senior technology executives on digital transformation initiatives. Freud holds a Bachelor’s degree from Universidade Federal de Viçosa, a Master’s degree from George Washington University, and an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, along with coaching credentials from Homero Reis e Consultores.
