Howard Rubin

Howard Rubin is the Owner, Founder, and President of Rubin Worldwide, established in January 1982, with a focus on technology economics. Rubin has served as a Research Associate at MIT Sloan School of Management since January 2005 and as a Senior Advisor at Gartner since January 2004. Additional leadership roles include Member of the Global Leadership Council at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Trustee at the Waterkeeper Alliance, and Member of the Leadership Council at the Tribeca Film Institute and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Rubin has also contributed as a BCG Senior Advisor from January 2016 to December 2023 and was an Associate Member of the Recording Academy until February 2016. Previously, Rubin chaired the Board of Directors at Riverkeeper from July 2010 to June 2015. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science and Oceanography from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BS/MS in Computer Science from The City College of New York.
