Ian Cox

Ian Cox is an experienced executive with a strong background in IT strategy and advisory roles. Currently serving as VP Analyst at Gartner since October 2016, Ian has held various leadership positions including Sr Director, Analyst. Prior to Gartner, Ian was a Consultancy Partner at F2X Group Ltd and a Non-Exec Adviser at Datalytyx. Ian's experience also includes significant roles at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as Interim IT Director and at May Gurney as Director of Information Systems. Ian has contributed to strategic IT initiatives across multiple sectors, providing consultancy and advisory services to senior leadership teams. Educationally, Ian holds an MSc in Applied Statistics & Operational Research from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Actuarial Studies from the University of Southampton.
