Ian Heiman

Ian Heiman is an Expert Partner in the US Federal Industry at Gartner, having joined the firm in September 2006. In this role, Ian is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for federal and public sector clients, overseeing account planning, solution architecture, client relationship management, and delivery engagement, along with financial reporting and team development. Prior to Gartner, Ian held various positions, including Senior Director and Associate Partner at BearingPoint, where support was provided for US Army projects. Ian also served as PMO Support Lead at Pragmatics, Inc., and as a Process Engineering Specialist at General Dynamics Amphibious Systems. Earlier in the career, positions at American Management Systems involved several roles in system engineering and quality assurance. Ian holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from William & Mary.
