Janet Joyce

Janet Joyce is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT leadership and strategic management. Currently serving as Vice President for the Americas Public Sector at Gartner since September 2017, Janet leads a team of experts providing guidance to IT Executives on technology strategies and program maturity. Prior roles include Director of Digital Operations at GE Digital, where Janet enhanced operational effectiveness for a global research headquarters, and earlier positions at GE Global Research overseeing IT governance and project management. Janet also has significant experience at NYISO, leading product and project management initiatives, and at Tennessee Valley Authority, managing substantial financial portfolios. Janet holds an MBA in Marketing from Haslam College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tennessee, with additional executive education from Harvard Business School.
