Joanne Spencer

Joanne Spencer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management. Currently serving as Vice President and Analyst at Gartner since January 2015, Joanne specializes in assisting clients to enhance their vendor management practices, focusing on performance, risk, and relationship management. Prior to Gartner, Joanne held various leadership roles at Aviva plc from April 2004 to December 2014, where responsibilities included developing a Supplier Relationship Management framework, managing global relationships with strategic IT suppliers, and achieving significant cost savings through procurement. Joanne’s educational background includes a BA (Hons) in French and Management Studies from the University of Reading and multiple professional certifications in purchasing, marketing, and project management.
