Previously, Jonathan held various roles at Gartner, including Senior Principal in Quantitative Analytics and Research, where they produced key research addressing financial industry challenges. Jonathan's past experience also includes significant contributions at The Pew Charitable Trusts, focusing on public sector retirement systems, and at the U.S. Census Bureau as a Survey Statistician. They earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Maryland College Park and have taught courses on social issues at the same institution.
