Kevin Tang

GVP, Chief Corporate Counsel at Gartner

Kevin Tang is the GVP and Chief Corporate Counsel at Gartner. Prior to joining Gartner, Kevin served as the Assistant General Counsel for Securities at Time Inc. from April 2014 through April 2017. In this role, Kevin was responsible for SEC compliance, including periodic reports and 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks filings. Kevin also participated in the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, such as earnings releases and earnings call slides.

In addition to their work in securities law compliance, Kevin also advised on corporate governance matters, including shareholder outreach efforts and investor relations communications. Kevin assisted with Board meeting preparations and provided counsel on corporate governance trends. Kevin also participated in ongoing efforts to prepare the company for shareholder activism.

Finally, Kevin supervised covenant compliance processes relating to Time Inc.'s principal debt facilities and advised the Treasury department on day-to-day operations.

Kevin Tang graduated from Harvard Law School with a J.D., cum laude. Prior to attending Harvard, Kevin Tang completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) at the University of Toronto with a high distinction in Economics and Finance.

Kevin Tang reports to Eugene A. Hall, CEO. They work with Ken Allard - CMO & EVP, Digital Markets, Yvonne Genovese - SVP, Global Product Management, and Robin Kranich - EVP & Chief Human Resources Officer.
