Maia Call is a highly experienced professional in quantitative analytics and data science, currently serving as a Senior Principal at Gartner since February 2022. In addition to this role, Maia has been a Quantitative Social Science Consultant at The Stimson Center since October 2018. Previous experience includes working as a Data Scientist for USAID from August 2019 to February 2022 and serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) from August 2017 to August 2019. Maia holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtained in 2017, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the same institution, earned in 2012.
