Matthew Arvay

Matthew Arvay is a strategy and business development executive currently serving as Managing Partner at Gartner, advising senior state and local government leaders on business and technology challenges. With nearly two decades of experience as a public sector CIO, they have held leadership roles in cities including Phoenix, Virginia Beach, and Evansville, where they led significant modernization efforts and facilitated substantial savings. Their notable achievements include earning multiple Digital Cities Awards and establishing Virginia Beach as a digital port hub. Prior to Gartner, they worked at Apple, where they contributed to national strategies and initiatives in the public sector. Matthew is pursuing a Master of Science at The University of Akron.
