Michael Orlando

GVP, Corporate FP&A at Gartner

Michael Orlando is the GVP of Corporate FP&A at Gartner. Michael has extensive experience in finance, having served in director-level finance roles at PepsiCo and Honeywell. Michael also spent three years at EY as a manager in the Assurance & Advisory Services group.

At PepsiCo, Orlando was responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company's North American businesses. Michael then moved to Honeywell, where they were promoted to head the newly integrated Global ADI CFO division. Orlando successfully turned around European and APAC performance and initiated best practices throughout all regions.

Orlando is a strategic thinker who has successfully delivered on complex financial initiatives. Michael is a strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results. Michael is also an excellent communicator, with the ability to clearly present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Michael Orlando has an MBA from Fordham Gabelli School of Business in Corporate Finance, and a BS from Binghamton University School of Management in Accounting. Michael also has a certification from Columbia Business School Executive Education in Strategy and Leadership in the Future of Work, as well as a certification from Columbia Business School Executive Education in Mergers & Acquisitions Program. Finally, they are a Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Education Department.

Michael Orlando reports to Craig Safian, EVP & CFO. They work with Marilena Dolan - Managing VP, Finance Transformation, Craig Wilton - VP, Head of Global Finance Advisory, and Jack Pranzo - GVP & CFO, Research Products.
