Roland Rivera is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in information systems and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Senior Director Analyst at Gartner, Roland has held key leadership positions including Deputy Commissioner for Technology and Chief Information Officer at the Virginia Department of Social Services, and Director of Information Systems and Chief Information Officer for the Office of the Secretary of State in Oregon. Additionally, Roland has served as Director of Network Strategy and Telecommunications at the University of Washington, and as Assistant Director of Telecommunications Services for the State of Washington. Roland holds a Master of Arts degree in Computer Resource Management and Space Systems Management from Webster University and has completed the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
