Scott Sherman

Scott Sherman serves as the Managing Vice President of Security and Risk Management at Gartner, leading a global advisory team that provides insights to senior IT executives. With previous roles at Gartner including Vice President and Director in Advisory, Scott has extensive experience counseling both public and private sector leaders on strategic management challenges such as governance and cybersecurity. Prior to Gartner, Scott worked as a Senior Consultant at IBM and held various legal and consulting positions, including attorney roles and political campaign consulting. Scott's educational background includes an MBA from the College of William and Mary, a JD from the University of Illinois, and a master’s degree in Political Management from The George Washington University.
