Tim Pitoniak

Regional Preparedness Liaison (RPL) & Deputy Program Manager (DPM) on the FEMA ICPD at Garud Technology Services

Tim Pitoniak began their work experience as an Intern at Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Production Assistant at Kollins Communications, Inc. From 2005 to the present, Tim has worked at the American Red Cross, starting as a Coordinator for Volunteer Instructors and moving up to roles such as Senior Coordinator for Disaster Volunteers, Regional Director of Staffing, Training, and Partnerships, Director of Emergency Services for the Finger Lakes/Western New York Regions, Senior Disaster Program Manager for Massachusetts, and finally, Regional Disaster Program Officer for Massachusetts. In 2023, they began working at Garud Technology Services Inc. as a Regional Preparedness Liaison and Deputy Program Manager on the FEMA ICPD.

Tim Pitoniak has a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a specialization in Video and Film Production from Ohio University. Tim also holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, which they obtained from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Tim completed a program in Leadership in Homeland Security at Harvard Kennedy School in 2014.
