Eleanor Spenceley has a strong background in biomedical science and molecular research. Eleanor worked as a Molecular Research Assistant at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research from February 2020 to the present. Prior to that, they held the role of Biomedical Scientist at HCA Healthcare UK from June 2019 to December 2019. From November 2017 to April 2019, they worked as a Biomedical Scientist at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Eleanor also gained experience as a Biomedical Scientist at NHS Blood and Transplant from July 2016 to November 2017. Eleanor Spenceley completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from UNSW between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions from the University of Otago, graduating in 2013. In terms of certifications, Eleanor obtained an Investigator & Site Personnel Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) Training certification from Genesis Research Services Pty Ltd in July 2021. Eleanor also became an Accredited Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid Australia in June 2021. Additionally, Eleanor is a Registered Biomedical Scientist, a designation awarded by The Health and Care Professions Council, which they obtained in December 2019. In April 2018, they achieved Licentiate membership from the Institute of Biomedical Science.
