Sarah Young

Sarah Young has a strong background in human resources and program management. Sarah most recently worked as a Senior People & Culture Science Partner at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior People Partner at Canva from May 2022 to June 2023. From September 2021 to May 2022, Sarah worked as an EMEA HR Program Manager at Tesla, and from September 2019 to September 2021, they held the role of Senior HR Business Partner - UK & IE at Tesla. Before their time at Tesla, Sarah worked at Kantar Media as a Global HR Program Manager from November 2018 to September 2019, and as an HR Manager - Transformation from July 2017 to November 2018. Sarah also has experience at TomTom as an Associate Manager from July 2016 to May 2017, and as a GIS Team Lead from June 2015 to June 2016. Sarah started their career at HERE Technologies, where they worked as a GIS Team Lead from March 2013 to June 2015 and as a GIS Analyst from October 2010 to March 2013.

Sarah Young completed their Master of Environmental Science and Law program at the University of Sydney from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from the same university, majoring in Marine Science, from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in CIPD Level 5 from AVADO, obtained in June 2017, and Change Management Practitioner from Prosci, obtained in April 2016.
