Wendy Gasteiger Travis

Wendy Gasteiger Travis, AICP, currently serves as the SW Regional Director of Transportation and Vice President, Planning and Environmental Leader at Garver since February 2017. Previously, Wendy held the position of Vice President and Project Director at HNTB from November 2004 to February 2017, and worked as a Senior Planner at PBS&J in 2003-2004 focusing on transportation NEPA projects. From 1999 to 2003, Wendy managed the transportation environmental practice at ARCADIS, significantly expanding the staff and revenue. Earlier career experience includes roles as an Environmental Specialist/Transportation Planner at FHWA, where contributions included drafting regulations and preparing reports, and as Project Manager at Discovery Research Group. Wendy earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Ecology from UC Irvine.
