Chyrise Harris

Chyrise Harris is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Vice President of Communications at Gary Community Ventures since June 2020. Previously, Chyrise held the role of Chief Communications Officer at brightbeam, where responsibilities included developing and implementing brand and communications strategies for education advocacy. Chyrise's experience also encompasses positions such as Sr. Director of Communications and Marketing at STRIVE Preparatory Schools and International Marketing Communications Manager at DaVita, where diverse marketing and PR initiatives were managed across global regions. Chyrise's career began in education and public relations roles, including as Regional Marketing Manager and Communications Specialist for Denver Public Schools, and has included significant contributions to branding and marketing strategies in various organizations. Chyrise holds a Master's degree in Global Marketing Communication & Advertising from Emerson College and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Technical Communication from Colorado State University.
