Louis Fair Hyams has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Louis Fair began their career as an Account Executive at Schiller and Associates in 1981 before moving on to become a Partner/Managing Director at Carter Advertising in 1983. At Carter Advertising, they were responsible for new business development and account supervision. In 1990, they became the Vice President of Marketing at Alerion Bank, where they managed advertising, sales promotion, research, public relations, and direct marketing. Alerion Bank was acquired by Premier Bancorp in 1993. From 1993 to 1995, Hyams worked as the Marketing Director and Vice President at Central Bank, where they led a team in strategic planning, advertising, sales promotion, research, public relations, and direct marketing. Louis Fair then joined First Commerce/Bank One as the SVP of Marketing & Client Communications, where they oversaw a $6 million marketing budget and supervised a staff of 4. In 2000, Hyams became the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Client Services at Bennett Marine, Inc., managing strategic planning, sales force, pricing, contract negotiations, distribution channel development, marketing communications, and P&L budget. Louis Fair later served as the Marketing Director at KTBS - TV and the Principal Owner of Marketing Coach - Sales and Marketing Consultancy. Currently, Hyams is the Vice President of Marketing at Gas and Supply, the largest independent welding supply distributor in the Gulf Coast and the 4th largest in the US.

Louis Fair Hyams obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising/Biology from Northwestern State University between 1975 and 1979. In 2005 to 2011, they earned a Management & Leadership Certification in Executive Management & Leadership from Vistage International. In 2010, they obtained a Working Leadership Certification from Foster Learning Corporation in Working Leadership. Additionally, they have also obtained certifications in Welding Fundamentals from the American Welding Society and Management Leadership from Foster Learning Corporation, although specific dates are not provided.
