Shane Finnegan

Shane Finnegan is an experienced professional in the finance and auditing sectors, currently serving as the EAC Statutory Reporting Lead at Gas Networks Ireland since October 2022. Previously, Shane held various positions over an eight-year tenure at EY, advancing from Senior Associate to Manager. Shane also gained experience as a Local Government Auditor with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage in mid-2018. Early career development included an internship at Crowley & McCarthy Chartered Accountants in 2011. Academically, Shane earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from University College Cork, with additional professional training from Chartered Accountants Ireland between 2014 and 2018.
