Dave Peters

Dave Peters has a strong work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dave is currently working at GSTV as a Principal Engineer since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Development Manager at GSTV from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining GSTV, Dave worked at InMoment as a System Architect from March 2020 to June 2021. Their responsibilities included integrating data and systems during a company merger, advising on platform consolidation, and building streaming data pipelines using technologies like Node.js and Kafka.

Dave also had a long tenure at MaritzCX, where they held multiple roles. From March 2018 to March 2020, they served as a System Architect, designing subsystems and APIs in a SaaS platform, championing streaming data systems using Kafka and .NET Core, and managing technical debt. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineering Manager from July 2016 to April 2018, leading a team and handling application and database performance tuning. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from October 2008 to July 2016, and IT Analyst II from January 2007 to October 2008.

Dave's early career includes roles at Ohio Air National Guard, where they worked as a Saxophonist in the ANG Band of the Great Lakes from September 1997 to September 2004, and at O-I, where they were a Software Engineering Co-op from May 2002 to November 2002.

Dave Peters attended Bowling Green State University from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Technology.
