Gas Strategies
Clare Spottiswoode serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at the Payments Council since 2012, coordinating payment services across the economy excluding cards, while also overseeing key payment schemes like BACS, CHAPS, and Faster Payments. Additional roles include NED and Remco Chair of RBC Europe, Chair of Flow, NED at EnQuest, Chair of Magnox Ltd, and NED and Chair of the Audit at Ilika Technologies Ltd. Clare Spottiswoode also holds a NED position at G4S and chairs their Corporate and Social Responsibility committee, and has been involved with Gas Strategies as Chairman since 2000. Previous experience includes a NED role at Energy Solutions and membership in the Independent Commission on Banking, which advised the government on banking sector reforms. Clare Spottiswoode obtained an M.Phil in Economics from Yale University and an MA in Maths and Economics from the University of Cambridge.
