Robin Baker is a seasoned professional in the energy finance sector with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies since October 2020 and a Managing Consultant at Gas Strategies since April 2018, Robin has previously held significant roles such as Managing Director and Head of Energy Finance at Societe Generale from April 2000 to April 2016, and Head of Oil & Gas for Asia Pacific at Chase Manhattan Bank from 1980 to March 2000. Robin holds a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
