Roy Surges

Roy Surges possesses over 39 years of expertise in the gas and electric transmission, storage, and distribution sectors. Currently serving as the Business Area Lead for Transmission Integrity Management Programs at Gas Transmission Systems, Inc. since January 2020, Roy specializes in regulatory gap analysis and program implementation for gas operators, with extensive experience in Hydrostatic Testing, In Line Inspection, ILI retrofit Construction, and ECDA Program Management. Prior to this role, Roy held multiple senior positions at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from January 2009 to December 2019, including Senior Manager of Pipeline Field Services and Superintendent of Gas Transmission Project Operations. Roy's foundational education consists of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Industrial Relations from San Francisco State University and an Associate's Degree from Diablo Valley College.
