Ioannis Sigalas FCCA has a diverse work experience spanning over various industries and roles. Starting from 2005, Sigalas worked as an Assistant Accountant at the Bank of Greece. In 2008, they served as an Assistant in the CEO's Office at the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. From 2009 to 2014, Sigalas worked as an Auditor at PwC. Since 2014, they have been associated with GasLog Ltd., where they have held several key positions. Ioannis began as a Financial Reporting Accountant and later moved on to become a Corporate Finance Analyst. From 2017 to 2020, Sigalas served as a Corporate Finance Manager at GasLog Ltd. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Corporate Finance, responsible for capital raising, M&A projects, investment appraisals, and investor relations activities. Sigalas also plays a crucial role in developing and executing the company's capital structure and financing initiatives.

Ioannis started by obtaining their Bachelor's degree in the Science of Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business, studying from 2003 to 2008. Ioannis then pursued further education in Accounting and Finance at the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) from 2009 to 2012, becoming a member of the organization after completing all exams at the first attempt. In 2014 to 2016, Sigalas enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), where they completed the Professional Maritime Programme, focusing on the Shipping Business field of study.
