Lian Smilda

Lian Smilda currently holds the position of Financial Reporter and Business Controller at GasTerra, where responsibilities include financial reporting to directors and shareholders, preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, and management presentations, as well as overseeing key performance indicators and coordinating the monthly reporting process for the Trading and Optimization departments. Lian has also served as a member of the Works Council and acted as a Business Analyst, focusing on quantitative and qualitative research related to natural gas trading in Northwestern Europe, gas price analysis, and financial valuation of natural gas contracts. Prior experience includes internships in the marketing department at Villeroy & Boch and the export department at Vagnerplast s.r.o. Lian's academic qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics from Hanze, and various training courses from New Energy Business School and IFE-Training.
