Sami Al-Husseini, CPA, CGA, currently serves as the Director of Finance at Gastops, managing a team of six and overseeing all accounting and payroll transactions since June 2015. Prior to this role, Sami co-founded TradeMerit, where responsibilities included financial reporting, analysis, and policy setting from 2007 to May 2015, and held titles of Director of Finance and Financial Controller. Additionally, from 1999 to 2007, Sami co-owned and was Finance Director at ViaSafe Inc, where over $3 million was raised for start-up funding and operations. Sami's academic credentials include a CPA designation, a Master of Management Science in Finance from Carleton University, and Level III CFA from the CFA Institute, along with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from Carleton University.

Gastops designs, manufactures and supports advanced equipment health sensing and analysis products, including on-line oil debris sensors, torque measurement sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and at-line wear debris analyzers.
