Bahar Adeli

Bahar Adeli is a Congressional Advocate at the American Gastroenterological Association since September 2022 and serves as a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow at Jefferson Health since July 2022. With extensive experience in healthcare, Bahar worked as a Hospitalist and Resident Physician at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System from August 2019. Prior to this, a clinical research coordinator and research fellow at Rothman Institute focused on patient outcomes following hip and knee arthroplasty, contributing to various research initiatives and presenting findings at national and international conferences. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University, coupled with ongoing gastroenterology fellowship training at Jefferson Health.
