Jan Heerschop

Jan Heerschop is an accomplished enterprise architect with extensive experience in data governance, energy systems, and IT strategy. Currently serving as the Enterprise Architect Data at Gasunie, Jan focuses on enhancing data management within the enterprise architecture team. Previously, Jan held multiple roles at TenneT Netherlands, including Enterprise Architect for Energy Systems and Markets and Domain Architect for both SAP and Corporate, contributing to the architecture of key operational units in the Netherlands and Germany. At Univé Verzekeringen, Jan established an enterprise architecture practice and developed the Strategic Information Plan. Additional roles at ENGIE included leadership in information systems architecture across several regions and facilitating European Energy Portfolio Management projects. Jan's career also includes experience with KPN, Sogeti, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and DOB. Jan holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Groningen.
