Jim-Wah Chung

Jim-Wah Chung is a seasoned data scientist and advisor with expertise in asset management and algorithm development. Currently serving as a Principal Data-Scientist and Senior Advisor in Asset Management at Gasunie since September 2023, Jim-Wah previously held the position of Senior Data & Algorithm Scientist at NEDERLANDSE GASUNIE NV. from October 2020 to September 2023, focusing on the transformation of predictive maintenance into condition-based maintenance through algorithm design. Jim-Wah's extensive experience at Gasunie from November 2004 to October 2020 includes roles in data science, simulation, and consultancy for gas transport planning and data modeling. Earlier in the career, contributions were made as a consultant at LogicaCMG from September 1997 to October 2004, involving project management, ICT architecture, and database performance tuning. Jim-Wah holds a PhD in Physics and a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Groningen.
