Joost Hooghiem

Joost Hooghiem serves as Directeur Waterstofnetwerk Nederland at Hynetwork Services since August 2023, focusing on the commercial and regulatory development of the public hydrogen network in The Netherlands. With extensive experience at Gasunie since April 2006, Joost has held various leadership roles, including Development Director and Manager of multiple projects related to natural gas, green gas, and hydrogen transport. Additionally, Joost has contributed to Stichting Pensioenfonds Gasunie as Chairman of the Board and participated in several committee roles. Joost possesses a strong educational background with degrees in Technology Management and Mechanical Engineering, along with certifications in pension management and maintenance.
