Schelte Rozendal

Schelte Rozendal is an experienced professional in the field of process safety, currently working at Gasunie since June 2023, focusing on hydrogen, CO2, and natural gas. Prior to this role, Schelte took a sabbatical after serving as Discipline Leader for Safety Engineering at Shell from July 2012 to September 2021, leading technical safety engineering efforts for Shell's Upstream International operations in the Netherlands. Schelte has a strong foundation in safety engineering, having held various roles at NAM BV Assen, KCA Deutag, and Bluewater Energy Services, with expertise in safety case development and external safety assessments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management of SHE and a Master of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
