Tim Benard

Tim Benard is an experienced professional in the field of environmental management and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as the Omgevingsmanager for the Bruggenteam Oost-Nederland at Rijkswaterstaat since August 2023, Tim also works as a Senior Advisor for the A20 Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel – Gouda project, focusing on traffic safety and flow improvements. In addition, Tim is a Project Leader for strategic environmental management at Gasunie, leading efforts for the ARAMIS project, which aims to establish CO2 infrastructure. Tim's previous roles at Rijkswaterstaat include Senior Advisor in environmental planning and various omgevingsmanager positions overseeing bridge maintenance and daily operations across regions. With educational qualifications in Environmental Science and Land and Water Management, Tim brings extensive expertise in stakeholder management, permitting, and project support across public infrastructure initiatives.
